The Story

Throughout my life I have played for many Sport Clubs. Some of them were large and some were just a handful of work mates wanting to organise some matches.

Many sport clubs don’t have the budget for a website so I decided to create a free Sport Club website tool that allows the sport club to administrate the day to day running of the club with ease.

The current features on SportChum are:

• Add players
• Create teams
• Assign players to teams
• Create Leagues
• Create Opponents
• Create fixtures
• Club administrator can send newsletters to the players
• Upload match reports

The goal of SportChum is to connect the players and managers in the club in an easy way.

The site was launched in 2011 and currently has over 1000 sport club members using it on a daily basis.

• Only administrator(s) of your club are able to upload notices;
• All members of the sport club are able to view the notice board.

• View a list of all the members in your club;
• Private message each other through the site;
• Administrator(s) are able to add new members to the club ;
• CSV upload functionality which makes bulk upload easier. CSV template file can be downloaded via the site.

Sport Club Teams

• Administrator(s) are able to define the teams for your sport club;
• Teams can be created and modified as often as you want;
• Send a message to the whole team with just one click.

Fixture Management and Results

• Manage your sport clubs fixtures through the site within a couple of clicks;
• Fixtures are then accessible to all your members;
• Fixture can be updated with the result once the match has been played so all the members of your sport club to see;
• When setting up your leagues you are able to insert a link to the official league table site.
